Our Story
Yep. It’s true. We were just living that Brooklyn life with no thought of leaving. Erin was in fashion and side-lining rock poster art, Martin was renovating brownstones. And then we visited Woodstock…..
On that trip, we walked by this property AND JUST GOT A FEELING. One year. One baby. A ton of coincidence and maybe a smidgen of insanity later, we owned a home in Woodstock!
But.....we also had a home In Brooklyn.
We should have known that two people who met while following bands on tour, who had traveled all over the globe and hated working for other people probably needed a more bohemian lifestyle.
Eventually we completely left Brooklyn, left our jobs and Today you can find us doing what we love to do: seeing live music, hanging out with loved ones, traveling and living life on our own terms. Best part of all we figured out how to share that with you!
it’s really all about you! Hosting our guests has led us to experience Woodstock as if we’re on vacation. as locals, We’ve explored the nature, eaten at the restaurants, visited the Venues and attended the events. We have done all the things. having a good time is really important to us and We want YOU to have a good time as well.
So come join the fun! art annex is the perfect spot to explore Woodstock due to its convenient in town location to its laid back bohemian vibe, its everything you want from Woodstock. We should know. We live here!

We would be total jerks if we didn't tell you how we got the amazing photos on this site. Got a minute?
After making the full on move from Brooklyn we were still tied to our Brooklyn jobs. It took about 4 months for Erin to say, "This ain't working!" So she wrote up a business plan, took baby Rose to the banks and secured loan to buy a dilapidated place that in 10 months we had turned into a psychedelic hotel called The White Dove Rockotel & Art Annex. Designed entirely with Erin's art, textile and design chops, it gained a lot of notoriety.

Rock Stars. Fashion Brands. Instagram Influencers. Artists & Photographers all came to stay, film and shoot.
It has been an amazing journey with some very cool folks. We recently sold The Dove to launch our own design consulting firm, create a line of home decor and hopefully open some bigger hotels. We love that we get to continue offering great design to cool folks here on our home property in Woodstock. We wouldn't have it any other way!
